sbeadex™ Lightning Nucleic Acid Purification Kit

The sbeadex™ Lightning Nucleic Acid Purification Kit from LGC Biosearch Technologies uses magnetic bead technology to isolate high quality DNA from veterinary samples, including faeces, tissue and blood. The purification chemistry uses magnetic bead binding, washing and elution to produce DNA suitable for downstream applications, including PCR, qPCR and next generation sequencing (NGS).

The Myra Liquid Handling System automates reagent dispensing and magnetic bead handling to standardise DNA extraction and reduce hands on time. This MyraScript protocol is configured to process up to 24 samples using the Myra 96 Well Magnet Station, with reagent volumes scaled down to reduce reagent consumption and processing costs. Lower reaction volumes can also reduce waste, support more economical use of kit reagents and produce more concentrated DNA eluates when elution volumes are reduced appropriately. The automated workflow provides a consistent approach to DNA purification for downstream molecular analysis.
