ProteinSimple Jess/Wes Pre-filled Plate Loading

The ProteinSimple Jess/Wes Pre-filled Plate Loading workflow supports automated, capillary-based Western blotting for protein detection and quantitative analysis. This workflow supports loading of compatible Jess/Wes pre-filled plates with split buffer across the 2–40 kDa, 12–230 kDa and 66–440 kDa separation ranges.

The Myra Liquid Handling System automates low-volume Jess/Wes assay plate preparation for up to 24 samples, including the dispensing of samples, biotinylated ladder, antibody diluent, primary and secondary antibodies, streptavidin-HRP/NIR and luminol/peroxide reagents. Programmed aspiration, dispensing and well positioning reduce hands-on time, user-dependent variation and the risk of pipetting errors when working with narrow wells and small reagent volumes. Following plate preparation, centrifugation and capillary-based Western blot analysis are performed separately using a compatible ProteinSimple Jess or Wes system.
