Medicinal Genomics MaGiC™ Lysis Kit

The Medicinal Genomics MaGiC™ Lysis Kit is designed for DNA extraction from samples containing bacteria and fungi, including Aspergillus, to support downstream molecular analysis. The kit uses specialised lysis reagents to release DNA from microbial cells without requiring magnetic bead purification, centrifugation or washing steps. The extracted DNA is suitable for use in compatible PCR based assays for pathogen detection.

The Myra Liquid Handling System automates reagent dispensing and liquid handling steps required for the MaGiC™ Lysis Kit workflow, helping to standardise DNA extraction, reduce hands on time and minimise operator dependent variability. The automated protocol can process up to 96 samples and provides a consistent approach to sample processing in preparation for downstream PCR based pathogen detection.
