KAPA EvoPrep Kit
The KAPA EvoPrep Kit from Roche is designed for next generation sequencing (NGS) library preparation from pre fragmented DNA. Compatible with genomic DNA, cell free DNA (cfDNA), DNA from formalin fixed, paraffin embedded (FFPE) tissue and PCR amplicons, the kit supports applications including whole genome sequencing, whole exome sequencing and targeted sequencing on Illumina sequencing platforms. Its streamlined workflow combines end repair, A tailing and adapter ligation, with optional library amplification depending on the selected workflow. The kit uses optimised reagents and fewer processing steps to help reduce hands on time, minimise potential errors and support high quality libraries with uniform sequencing coverage.
This protocol semi automates DNA library preparation for up to 24 samples using the Myra Liquid Handling System. The system automates supported reagent dispensing, reaction setup and clean up steps, while any required heating steps are performed externally using a thermal cycler. By automating pipetting intensive steps, the workflow helps reduce manual handling and the risk of human error, improve reproducibility and increase overall laboratory productivity.
