attomol® Attosorb 3×96

The attomol® Attosorb 3×96 system is designed for rapid DNA purification from anticoagulated whole blood in a 96 well PCR plate format. DNA binds directly to the plate surface, allowing excess sample material to be washed away before PCR amplification is performed in the same well. This streamlined approach reduces sample handling, eliminates the need for separate reaction vessels and avoids centrifugation and magnetic bead separation.

The Myra Liquid Handling System automates reagent dispensing and sample processing to improve consistency and reduce hands on time. This protocol supports automated processing of up to 96 samples per run for downstream molecular genetic testing, including the detection of genetic variants associated with conditions such as thrombophilia, lactose intolerance and haemochromatosis using compatible attomol® Realtime LT and TM assays.
