BD MAX PCR Cartridge Loading

The BD MAX™ PCR Cartridge Loading system was developed to automate the sample‑to‑result workflow for BD MAX™ assays. It uses a BD MAX™ PCR Cartridge capable of holding up to 24 samples, which are processed in the BD MAX™ system for nucleic acid extraction, PCR thermocycling, and analysis in a single run. By automating the loading of each cartridge, the Myra system can provide a standardized workflow improving result consistency while reducing hands‑on time and minimizing costly pipetting errors.

This MyraScript protocol supports loading up to four BD MAX™ PCR Cartridges, with each cartridge accommodating up to 24 samples. The workflow prepares or uses a pre-made PCR Master Mix, combines it with individual samples or controls to create Intermediate Reaction Mixes, and transfers a user-defined volume of each mix into the BD MAX™ PCR cartridges.
