Xeligen XL Kit

The XeliGen XL Kit, manufactured by Eurospital, is an in vitro diagnostic molecular biology kit for determining genetic susceptibility to coeliac disease using Real Time PCR. The kit detects specific HLA alleles associated with coeliac disease, allowing identification of HLA DQ2 and/or DQ8 associated genetic profiles and stratification of genetic risk into five classes, G1 to G5. The kit is intended for use with genomic DNA extracted from EDTA anticoagulated whole blood and is not
intended for tissue typing.run.

For this MyraScript protocol, up to 24 samples can be processed in a single run, corresponding to the capacity of one XeliGen XL Kit. The protocol automates the pipette intensive PCR setup steps, providing consistent reagent dispensing and reducing operator variability during preparation of the PCR reaction plate.
