Overview

Preparing a high-quality Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) library is a complex process that requires a significant investment of time, money, and expertise. The whole workflow typically consists of multiple stages, each with hundreds of pipetting steps that require precision. As pipetting precision depends on the user, variability is introduced which can negatively affect the reproducibility. Myra can streamline this labour-intensive process with minimal user intervention and setup time. We have provided a protocol to minimize programming and get you up and running quickly.

This protocol automates the Quick-16S Plus NGS Library Prep Kit for up to 96 libraries on the Myra where the 96 Well Magnetic Station is used for the clean-up steps. By automating the pipetting-intensive steps, human error can be eliminated, thereby providing high-quality reproducible results, and increasing overall productivity.

As the process is the same for all Quick-16S Plus NGS Library Prep Kit variations, any of the (V1-V2), (V1-V3), (V3-V4, UDI), (V4) regions can be used with this workflow on the Myra.

More information on the protocol can be found via Download the Protocol PDF.
