Workbench Software

Integrated, flexible, simple

myra-software

Flexibility without the complexity

The Myra liquid handling system and Mic qPCR cycler have software unlike any other.

Configure workflows like NGS library prep using the scripting function without the difficulty of navigating a complex software. Pre-configured scripts available for a vast number of different applications with the flexibility to modify them to your requirements without fuss. Standard laboratory operations such as qPCR are setup, run and analysed using inbuilt applications with an intelligent UI.

Options

Standard applications like qPCR are built into the software to allow for quick setup. Setup your assays including run profiles and analysis. Achieve sample normalization, pooling, or simple plate transfers in a few steps. Alternatively, use the flexibility of Python scripting to create your own workflow processes or download and update existing protocols from our list of script templates.

There are inbuilt options for common applications such as qPCR and NGS library quantification. All of these are fully integrated with the Mic qPCR cycler for a seamless workflow. Applications such as NGS library preparation and DNA/RNA isolation will also be available in future Myra developments. Select the option in the start menu and follow the easy steps to getting the run started.

Assay Creation

Creating assays up front makes life easy for future runs. The assays contain all the information to prepare an experiment such as reaction components, thermal profiles and analysis options. The last two being very useful when integrating with a Mic cycler. Using clever logic embedded into the assay design ensures you never miss critical elements of the setup.

Run Setup

Myra can be configured to setup qPCR reactions in two different ways, depending on your unique laboratory settings:

  • Sample Prep and qPCR Setup is a feature that simplifies your complete workflow setup. The software automatically creates reactions based on user-defined sample input. The sample prep section means you can create a workflow from sample to reaction in only a few simple steps.
  • Reaction Driven qPCR Setup is a flexible option allowing users to create a customised reaction plate based on a desired sample order.

Deck Layout

Laying out your deck takes no time or effort. Select the plates you need or use a predefined default. Move your reagent components, intermediate mixes, and templates over to the plates and you’re done. Almost all plate positions can be used as a template, mix, reagent or reaction. This level of flexibility opens up a lot more room on your deck. We cater for most generic tube types so finding the right plate won’t be a problem.

We don’t have your tube type? No problem – our software lets you define your own. How nice is that.

Script Runs

Script Run is a new Python-based Myra feature that can be used to develop fully customisable protocols. Full control of liquid transfer parameters, including pipetting speeds, delays, level sensing, tracking and mixing can be programmed by the user. Python is used in combination with a MyraScript API to configure plasticware and reagents on Deck Layout, and compile a list of operations for execution.

Visit Myra Script for access to an extensive collection of completed script runs for various protocols including matrix serial dilutions, complex normalisations, cell culture transfers, next-generation sequencing (NGS) applications and magnetic bead clean-up.

Calibration – Eye Can Do it.

With an integrated high precision camera, achieving calibration on a robotic liquid handling system is simply easy. Just click to the middle of the tube image, and let the software do the rest.

Only calibrate what you need. Why spend all day calibrating tubes you won’t even use? The Myra pipetting robot software will only require calibration of tubes that are in use. All calibration is recorded by the automated pipetting robot, so repeating it isn’t necessary when changing computers or pipette heads.

Link in with Mic

Start a Mic run at the touch of a button. No need to export and import sample information. It’s all seamlessly linked to ensure fast and reliable setup, with no transfer errors.
