Bio Molecular Systems are a leading Australian manufacturer of qPCR and liquid handing systems, best known for the Mic qPCR Cycler and range of Myra Liquid Handlers. Due to expansion of our UK team, we are currently seeking a talented salesperson to join us.
Position Description
The primary focus of the role is to actively generate new business within the Life Science market sectors, as well as to manage existing account relationships on territory. As part of a small team it is essential that the candidate is keen to learn our products at a deep level, enabling them to also provide applications and first-level technical support to their customers whenever required.
Key Responsibilities
- Pre-Sales: Proactively seek out new business opportunities, present Bio Molecular Systems solutions and ultimately convert these to successful sales. Due to the size of territory, remote sales techniques are preferred but travel will be required at your discretion.
- Be the face of Bio Molecular Systems at all times, including attendance of national trade exhibitions including weekends as required.
- Maintain complete and up-to-date records in Salesforce CRM of contacts, accounts, activities, and full opportunity funnel.
- Provide regular forecasting to guide production scheduling.
- Post-Sales: Provide a single point of contact to manage existing accounts and answer first-level technical queries before escalation to R&D.
We offer a competitive salary dependent upon experience, and an uncapped commission at the rate of 5% of all paid-up invoices, paid quarterly.
