SwiftX™ DNA Extraction (Blood Samples)

SwiftX™ DNA is designed for rapid extraction of DNA from a wide range of biological samples, including whole blood. The different components of SwiftX™ DNA have specific functionalities within the workflow of DNA extraction.

This protocol semi-automates SwiftX DNA kit for up to 8 whole blood samples if using a single-channel pipette head or up to 24 samples if using a multi-channel pipette head on the Myra. A 96 Well Magnet Station is used for the clean up steps and the heating step is performed on an external thermal cycler. By automating the pipetting-intensive steps, human error can be eliminated, thereby providing high-quality samples, and increasing overall productivity.
