Researchers demonstrate the use of a multiplexed diagnostic qPCR assay for the detection of 14 pathogens that can be found in cerebrospinal fluid. The authors used the assay to detect Neisseria meningitidis, which is a causative pathogen of primary meningococcal septic arthritis.
